The Shoulder

I’ll give you my shoulder to rest your weary head.

I’ll teach you the ways of the cowboy and watch over you while you learn.

I’ll show you fields of green things most men don’t see.

A baby colt taking his first steps, you two will ride together as one soon.

Off into a sunset of brilliant orange, red, and all the blue in your eyes, the same blue that’s in mine.

I’ll teach you to come to the animals aid to watch over them as I do you. To love and respect Gods natural gifts.

One day you’ll look at this photo and remember… I loved you always as I did your daddy
